Tecno-Tau began its activity in 1999 as a company specialised in industrial software.

In 2001 a new investor, a technician with wide experience in this market and with a high sales profile, entered the company bringing his established customers.

An important expansion of the Business activity starts, which leads to the purchase of the premises in Sant Cugat-Valldoreix, together with an increase of technical staff.

In this way Tecno-Tau develops its activity in two business lines: on one hand software engineering and control cabinets assembly addressed to machinery manufacturers and on the other, turn-key projects.

In 2006 Aggrego, S.L., an investement company with experience in the market as main shareholder of Perfiltek (Manufacturer of conveyors and assembly lines), enters the company as principal shareholder contributing with the necessary resources to finance the growth of the company and the leading of the project.
The expansion of the Business of Tecno-Tau focusses since then on market diversification and globalization.
During 2007, Tecno-Tau integrates to its group the company Dimatec System AG and adds to its organisation the key staff, who had been developing the Dimatec product and technology previously in a engineering company in Reus. This company had been the integrator of Dimatec technology for many years but it ceased its activity recently.
For the above mentioned Tecno-Tau has created a new division located in a technical center in Torredembarra. This new division is specialised in adhesive application equipments and is developing a wide international network of distributors and integrators.
